Certain events have Geolocation or Geofencing turned on to ensure that people are at a location to check in.

Once you scan the Event QR code, you may be prompted to share your GPS location.

If you do not share, you will not be allowed to check-in.  If you try to share, you may not be able to based on your phone’s settings.

On an iPhone:

1. Go to Settings>Privacy & Security>Location Services.
2. Turn on location sharing for your default web browser.  Choose Chrome or Safari Webpages.
3. Select While Using the App or Ask Next Time Or When I Share.

You may also have to:

1. Go to Settings>Apps>Safari or Chrome.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the page to Locations.
3. Select Ask or Allow.

On an Android phone:

1. Go to Settings>Location.
2. Select Chrome.
3. Set to Allowed all the time or Allowed only while in use.
